Michele has always been interested in some form of physical activity/exercise, whether it is attending exercise classes like aerobics or circuit training or running a half marathon, she always strives to put in 100%
Following on from her love of exercise, Michele has completed her Level 3 Advanced Personal Trainer qualification and has also just completed her Nutrition & Weight Management course, giving her an excellent understanding of how to manage diets with individual clients.
Michele takes a sensitive approach to exercise and realises that especially with female clients a gentler and more understanding approach is key. Many clients are known to feel intimidated when exercising, especially in perhaps a gym environment. To overcome this hurdle, Michele specialises in home training, and can perform a number of exercises and techniques without the need for specific equipment, but simply using the environment around her.
With the growing epidemic of childhood obesity, Michele has had some experience in training with 11-17 yr olds – gaining back a child's confidence and educating them in a lifelong change to exercise and diet.
Pregnancy and exercise has always fascinated Michele who will shortly be undertaking a course in how to specialise with this specific group. There are many women who would like to stay active during pregnancy, but perhaps do not know the safest way to do so, on the flipside many women would like to lose that excess weight commonly put on during pregnancy.
All in all Michele's approach to exercise is hard working, fun, energetic, filled with variety and best thing of all, you get good results and feel great.
